About Us
Mission Statement To further the art and skill of quilt making and to foster an appreciation for quilts old and new. Goals • Present an annual quilt show for the community • Support members in achieving their individual goals as quilters • Provide educational and recreational opportunities for members • Make quilts for donation to community services. Membership The organization is open to all persons with interest in quilting. Our dues are currently $40.00 per year, due by January 31st. Each member is encouraged to pre-purchase ten (10) tickets for the raffle quilt. Dues are pro-rated for those joining during the year. There is a one-time initiation fee of $5 for new members (Sunbonnet Sue Pin). We are a very active club and expect full participation from our members. That is why we request that you attend at least three meetings before you decide whether you want to be a part of our group. Meetings The club meets at the Sequim Masonic Temple (700 S. 5th Ave.) (click here for a map) on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. until 3:00 pm with club announcements at 11:00 a.m. The monthly business meeting is held at 10:00 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month. We have ample space to work on our own projects at our own pace and we offer classes, field trips, and retreats. We have an excellent library and equipment is available for our use during meetings. Because we have several members with severe allergies, please avoid the use of any perfumes.
