Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Club Presents the
22nd Annual Quilt Show
Sequim Prairie Flowers
July 18, 19 and 20, 2008
Featured Artist:: Nancy Davis
The club meets at the Sequim Masonic Temple every Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 4:00 pm, with monthly business meetings at 10:00 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month.
We have ample space to work on our own projects at our own pace and we offer classes, field trips, and retreats. We have an excellent library and equipment is available for our use during meetings.
The organization is open to all persons with interest in quilting. Our dues are currently $30.00 per year, due on January 1st. Dues are pro-rated for those joining during the year. There is a one-time initiation fee of $5 for new members (Sunbonnet Sue Pin).
We are a very active club and expect full participation from our members. That is why we request that you attend at least three meetings before you decide whether you want to be a part of our group.

Retreats
The Sunbonnet Sue
Quilt Club sponsors a retreat about twice a year for its members. The
last several have been held in spring and fall at Seabeck. Usually there
is a large group of ladiessewing, cutting, designing new projects and
having in general, having a great time together. Some say they get more
sewing done in the three days away from home than in a month at home.
Imagine being able to sew from dawn to darkor even later with no
responsibilities! Meals are prepared and are described as excellent and
more than you can imagine you could ever eatplus there are the snacks
that everyone brings for the snack table. Seabeck is a beautiful
location- scenic and close to the necessary quilt shops for last minute
needs. Besides, it:s great to go home with new additions to the stash in
anticipation of the next retreat. There is usually an impromptu
sing-along or game to enjoy in the evenings- plus bridge cards have even
been known to pop out of a quilt bag or two. This is our adult version of
the slumber party- with the added attraction of being able to pursue our
shared love- quilting!
